Alkaline – Mirage

Alkaline debut his long-awaited new single “Mirage” you can listen below.The Vendetta boss first previewed the Tru Ambassador-produced single last month and fans have been patiently waiting on it ever since. Now “Mirage” is the first song from Alkaline since the start of the year and the wait is worth it. Over an eclectic dancehall beat, the deejay rhymes about his struggles of keeping his cool when his enemies are trying to draw him out.

“Sometimes I get so mad when I see scumbags, hype and brag like them wicked and bad, sometimes me say f*** it bun up them whole squad, but them me remember say them youths here broke them life sad, but then I get so mad when I see scumbags gwaan like say them can’t get them toe tag,” Alkaline deejay.

In another line, the Vendetta leader addresses his running with police officers last year when he was held without being charges for several days. “Can’t get no break goddam them a try test my faith badman, instigate send police a try frustrate badman, can’t get no break, can’t get no break now,” Alka spits.
