YEN has sighted a video of a little boy rapping Shatta Wale’s ‘Gringo’ as if the song is his.
The boy, who is believed to be between the ages of 7 and 8, was in the studios of Accra-based Peace FM.
According to the presenter, the boy had informed him that he could sing all songs by Shatta Wale, therefore, he tasked him to sing the latest ‘Gringo’ which he did to the surprise of many.
A proud Shatta Wale himself shared this video on his Instagram page with a caption suggesting that he is really proud of the boy, and also happy that such a young child could master his music.
Shatta Wale wrote: “Regrann from @kha_liba – SM empire too large God bless All SM fans @shattawalenima bless Up Dad #Gringo – #regrann.”
