The Ghanaian music industry has produced a variety of artists who through their passion, talent, and love for musical careers have imparted some morals and positive attitudes to society.
It takes a high spirited and dedicated artists to penetrate through the masses and stand out to the apex with their craftworks.
In an exclusive interview on X television show hosted by King Tona, a fante rapper/ singer Slim Gee expressed his deepest displeasure on the side of his musical career where he felt very disappointed to see the big men in the entertainment industry sabotaging the upcoming artists.
According to the “Hustlers” hitmaker, he remembers when coming up as a musician, he sent his music CD to Samuel Atuobi Baah known professionally as Sammy Flex to help him with promotion but Sammy Flex listened to the song and realized Slim Gee is a threat to his favorite Kofi Kanata for which he told him in his presentation to the extent of turning off the offer.
“About 6 years ago my then manager and I sent my song titled “BB Fone” to Sammy Flex but he said it in front of me that I sound like Kinaata and that, I’m a threat to Kinaata and just a day after we went there he called my manager that he’s no more helping in my music promo,” he said.
In this situation, Slim Gee believes that there are several up-and-coming artists who are very talented and loves to put their passion into reality but this kind of circumstance has been their biggest challenge.
Right from the producers to the industry players must put up their maximum support to the young talent and through that, Ghanaian music will uniquely stand tall amongst the whole world.
